Applications For The Big Play, Which Is In The Second Year Of A Three-Year Initiative Between Jumpstart Charities And The Hockey Canada Foundation To Get 30,000 Kids Into Minor Hockey. Parents Or Guardians Who Qualify For Financial Assistance Are Encourage To Apply To The Big Play For This Funding To Assist With The Hockey Registration Fees For The 2016/2017 Hockey Season. Bauers The First Shift Do you know someone who is interested in hockey but doesn't want to make a big commitment? Then check out Bauers First Shift. It is an introduction to hockey that includes program, equipment and safety eduction. The program is open to boys and girls ages 6-10 who have never previously registered in minor hockey.
